Dear Supporters and Sponsors of HK-IMT,
The Hong Kong Institute for Marketplace Transformation (HK-IMT) is now in its fifth year of operation. A decade ago, at the IMT Global inception conference held on Jeju Island, I, HK-IMT’s Founder and Coordinator, Jimmy Pak, made a decision to bring Professor Stevens’ Marketplace Theology to Chinese and Chinese-speaking Christian communities in a more impactful way. Over the past four years, HK-IMT has dedicated its efforts to building and solidifying a strong foundation to advance this mission.
Inception and Commission of HK-IMT
HK-IMT Limited was incorporated in September 2020.
HK-IMT Limited’s Charity Status was approved in September 2021 (effective from May 2021).
HK-IMT aims at transforming Workers, Work & Workplaces with shared values of Integrating, Meaning, and Thriving.
Three Essential Pillars
There are three essential pillars to how HK-IMT develops and fulfills this mission.
First is to have Faithful, Available, Teachable and Entrepreneurial (FATE) people.

2024-2025/6 Fellows Plan
One of the current cohorts, HK-4, is a Mandarin-speaking group that has already begun with five members. In April, two additional cohorts will launch—one for Cantonese-speaking pastors and another for Cantonese-speaking leaders. Additionally, Fellows Alumni, comprising 13 pastors and 16 leaders, will gather monthly to continue fellowship and collaborative learning.
Over the years, HK-IMT has cultivated strong relationships with five professional and industry fellowships. We aim to form three new cohorts with approximately 24 members from these networks. Within the church network, we plan to establish four cohorts, whose members will become prospective IMT Fellows in the coming years.

I am 65 years old now. Efforts are underway to identify a successor, with the goal of appointing another part-time coordinator to work alongside with me by 2027.
